Description

Full watercolor in 29x20.5 cm paper. (11.3x 8 inches)

This paint is about how in our sick society, we put empty packages in a pedestal , or sometimes our silly idols are full of something, but that something is trash.

Esta pintura es acerca de como, en nuestra sociedad enferma, ponemos envases vacios en un altar, o a veces, nuestros ídolos si tienen contenido, contienen basura.

Kisses.

Pros: You have an interesting concept going on here and the composition actually works. The colors feel a little gaudy but for your subject and what you are trying to convey I think gaudy is a way to go. You also have a good amount of detail going on here. Lastly it shows that you care about your art and show a good amount of dedication to a piece.

Cons: The big ouch right now is your application of three point perspective. I think the problem is that you are trying to put your vanishing points on the paper/canvas itself and that doesn't always work. When working traditionally, if you need a vanishing point off the paper, then take extra paper and tape it to your main paper from behind and place your vanishing points there if they are needed there. Right now because of improper vanishing point placement you are getting a high amount of distortion which is common with most methods of perspective. Sometimes you have to fudge it so that it looks correct. The second thing I see is that you have no color to your light or shadow and in fact I see very little light and shadow, when in fast you should have a lot of neat shadow and highlights happenings. Light tends to be warm colors and shadows tend to be cool colors, so whatever your local color is, then that needs to shift in temperature in those directions respectively.

Hope that helps.
